A half-day summit for area high school students interested in learning about voting and civic engagement hosted at the Carnegie Library Oakland (Main) Branch. Lunch, travel assistance, if needed, swag, gift certificates for participants and invaluable learning and connections will be provided.

Did you know that less than 30% of 18 year olds in Allegheny County are registered to vote? Come learn how to change that and ensure that young people’s voices are heard in government! Join us* for youth-led workshops, panels, speakers, and expert planning support. You’ll leave with everything you need to register and organize a youth-led voter registration drive for your school. Mayor Gainey and PPS Superintendant Walters plan to attend.
