ABOUT THE MODERATOR: Dr. Tammy Murdock, MD, MMM is an OB/GYN at Squirrel Hill Health Center serving largely immigrant and refugee women and their families. She is affiliated with UPMC Mercy and UPMC Children’s Hospital.
ABOUT THE PANELISTS:
- Brandy Gentry is the founder and executive director of Oli’s Angels Birth and Bereavement Services, is a certified birth and bereavement doula and provides doula services to women in jail.
- Heather Bradley is director of Pittsburgh Doula Network is a DONA-certified labor doula, certified hypnobirthing instructor, breastfeeding activist and midwife-attended home birth supporter. She is also a bereavement and postpartum doula.
- Katie Hyre is a project coordinator at AHN Center for Inclusion Health for immigrant and refugee doula services, is a Lamaze-certified childbirth educator, birth & postpartum doula, and certified child passenger safety technician.
