The High Holidays are traditionally the time to atone for harm we have caused in the past year, but how should we go about doing that? When does it make sense to apologize for something that happened months ago, and what does that look like? What are tangible distinctions between apologies that we give to make ourselves feel better and those that center the person we hurt?
Join Moishe House Pittsburgh to discuss these questions and more. If you’ve received an effective apology or repaired a relationship through an apology, please come and share that! Stories of ineffective apologies are welcome too. Our goal is to support each other leading up to Yom Kippur.
