Classrooms Without Borders presents the Pittsburgh-area premiere of the feature film Irena’s Vow, based on the true story of Polish nurse Irena Gut Opdyke whose courage helped save Jewish lives in Nazi-occupied Poland. The event is in partnership with the Collaboratory Against Hate, the Holocaust Center of Pittsburgh, and CMU’s International Film Festival. The screening takes place Sunday, December 10 at McConomy Auditorium at 3:00 pm (doors at 2:30 pm). This free event requires registration.
