Join WoTS and Brotherhood for a brunch and discussion about the challenges of living a creative life while also overcoming disabilities. Expect to hear stories that will touch your heart and maybe even inspire you to add more creativity to your life.
ABOUT OUR PANELISTS
- Anne Alter, Eli Kurs-Lasky, and Kara Snyder, members of the Temple Sinai community who produce various forms of art while having disabilities, will explain how they have overcome obstacles to express their creativity.
- Flavio Chamis, a composer, conductor, and teacher who studied under Leonard Bernstein, will discuss his experiences helping individuals with disabilities gain fulfillment through music.
- Lindsey Kaine, Pittsburgh Ballet Theater’s (PBT’s) Associate Director of Education and Accessibility, will explain how PBT accommodates persons with disabilities so they may access the organization’s programming.
- Lynn Rubenson, WoTS President, will serve as moderator.
