“THE ARTS KNOW NO BOUNDARIES: A PANEL DISCUSSION”

Join WoTS and Brotherhood for a brunch and discussion about the challenges of living a creative life while also overcoming disabilities. Expect to hear stories that will touch your heart and maybe even inspire you to add more creativity to your life.

ABOUT OUR PANELISTS

  • Anne Alter, Eli Kurs-Lasky, and Kara Snyder, members of the Temple Sinai community who produce various forms of art while having disabilities, will explain how they have overcome obstacles to express their creativity.
  • Flavio Chamis, a composer, conductor, and teacher who studied under Leonard Bernstein, will discuss his experiences helping individuals with disabilities gain fulfillment through music.
  • Lindsey Kaine, Pittsburgh Ballet Theater’s (PBT’s) Associate Director of Education and Accessibility, will explain how PBT accommodates persons with disabilities so they may access the organization’s programming.
  • Lynn Rubenson, WoTS President, will serve as moderator.

Cost: $10 brunch & discussion no later than Wednesday, Feb. 7 ($18 at the door)/$5 watch on Zoom
