Join this 6 week program designed for first time parents and appropriate for interfaith couples. This innovative program combines childbirth education with an exploration of Jewish traditions and rituals connected with pregnancy, birth, parenting and raising a family.
Baby U will provide a unique opportunity to be a part of a community and create lasting friendships. Topics will include medical aspects of pregnancy including maternal nutrition and preparing for childbirth, Jewish traditions and home rituals surrounding childbirth, creating a Jewish home, Jewish educational opportunities in Pittsburgh, newborn care, CPR training, post-partum depression as well as preparing mentally and emotionally for a child.
