War is always difficult and painful, involving a host of moral and legal dilemmas. In this course, Rabbi Schiff will explore the subject of war from the perspective of Jewish values: How do we know when a war is just? How should we deal with innocent civilians on the battlefield? How are Jewish ideals incorporated into the current conduct of the IDF?
