Our Speakers

Bruce Rabin, MD, PhD is Emeritus Professor at the University of Pittsburgh where he taught Pathology and was Director of the Division of Clinical Immunopathology and UPMC’s Healthy Lifestyle Program. Dr. Rabin has dedicated his professional life to understanding the interaction between stress, the immune system, and health – the mind/body connection. His work has helped people of all ages, backgrounds and lifestyles cope with stress. Bruce has been instrumental in moving medical research into the behavioral sciences.

Ellen Freise-March, a graduate of Chatham University is currently in private practice at Orenda Counseling Center in Pittsburgh. Ellen has been licensed and certified by many state, national, and international professional organizations. Her goal as an interpersonal neurobiological-focused therapist is to provide support that helps individuals discover their strengths and enables them to grow. Her work has helped many people to better deal with life’s challenges such as trauma, depression, loss, grief, and bereavement.

Erroll Miller, Esq., is a Harvard Law School graduate with nearly 40 years of experience in the private practice of law. He clerked for a Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice and was the first in-house Counsel for Giant Eagle. Since retirement, Erroll has taught multiple classes at Carnegie Mellon University’s Osher Lifelong Learning Program. His classes have helped hundreds of older students understand and appreciate the need for professional advice in taking care of loss-related business matters such as estate management and administration issues including but not limited to insurance, trusts, medical assistance, and elderlaw.
