Calling All PJ Library Readers!
Hi! I’m Katie Metosky and if your kiddos are anything like mine, they devour the PJ Library free Jewish-themed books as soon as they arrive. Well, it’s time we reward them for their good taste!
Rita’s Ice for Your Readers
On July 31, between 4:00 and 5:30 PM, look for me sitting in the shade in front of Rita’s Ice on Forbes Avenue. Every 8-year-old child or younger who has read at least three PJ Library books will get a free small ice on me! Thanks to the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh and the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, PJ Library books have been sparking meaning conversations in Pittsburgh families for more than 14 years.
I’ll also have a stack of NEW PJ Library books that your kiddos can take home with them.
So, Here’s the Scoop
- Meet me at Rita’s July 31 between 4:00 and 5:30 PM. (No registration necessary.)
- Bring your avid reader (up to age 8) and the three PJ Library books they have read.
- Get a small Rita’s ice and a new book for them!
If you have questions about PJ Library, feel free to reach out to me at kmetosky@jfedpgh.org or phone 412-697-6652.
