“A sanctuary is a sacred space that is separated from the rest of the world. Similarly, Shabbat is a sanctuary of time separated from the rest of the week.”
OneTable, Federation’s Young Adult Division, Repair the World, and Moishe House are coming together to provide a safe space to commemorate the attack on Tree of Life Synagogue and remember the lives lost on October 27th, 2018; to celebrate diversity, equality, and inclusion, and to continue building the beautifully supportive Young Adult community that we have here in Pittsburgh.
Whether you’re a new face in our city or have lived here your whole life, we invite you to join us on Friday, October 25th for a #TogetherAtTheTable dinner; to engage in meaningful conversation, to mingle with old friends and new, to put down the stresses of your week and start anew.
We’ll have candle lighting, a wine bar + mingling, ritual and dinner. Join us for some, or join us for all. We’d love to have you!
Schedule of the Happenings:
