The class will cover the basics of investing including: the importance of saving early, the power of Roth IRAs, how to build a strong portfolio, and how to interpret and understand the financial news you are bombarded with each day.
Who is Ari Goldberg?
As an award-winning financial advisor with Hefren-Tillotson, Ari Goldberg is dedicated to providing comprehensive financial planning and investment management to individuals and small businesses. Ari received his MBA from Robert Morris University and uses his extensive knowledge of investments, retirement, tax, insurance, charitable giving and estate planning to help clients navigate their financial options. Ari previously worked as the regional financial and fundraising manager for NCSY, a national Jewish youth organization, and served as the director of their Pittsburgh chapter for over a decade.
A dedicated member of Pittsburgh’s Jewish community, Ari serves as a Wexler Leadership Fellows chair, the financial officer for his synagogue, Poale Zedeck, and is on the board of directors of both Hillel Academy and Beis Medrash Hagadol. Ari lives in Squirrel Hill with his wife Rachel and their four children. In his spare time, Ari enjoys playing softball, hockey, and golf and rooting for his hometown teams of the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals.
