Join Pittsburgh’s Jewish young adult community as we celebrate Sukkot in our virtual sukkah together. BYOWine and we’ll provide the wisdom as we discuss the idea of shelter and what that currently means for many people in our community within the context of Sukkot. We’ll be joined by an expert from the Fair Housing Partnership to enhance our discussions. Hosted by The Tree of Life Young Jewish Community, Repair the World, Moishe House, Temple Sinai Young Adult Group, Congregation Beth Shalom Derekh, and The Jewish Federation’s Young Adult Division.
Just for fun! There is a tradition to eat stuffed foods to symbolize an abundant harvest during Sukkot. Bring your favorite stuffed food to the virtual sukkah. The possibilities are endless…stuffed shells, overstuffed burritos, stuffed olives, stuffed peppers and more! We’d love to see what creative concoctions you come up with.
