Engage and challenge your fellow community members to deepen your understanding of what it means to be a leader, and how that can be applied to everyday life in Jewish Pittsburgh.

The Gefsky Community Scholar position is endowed by the H. Arnold and Adrien B. Gefsky Endowment Fund of the Federation’s Jewish Community Foundation.

Engage and challenge your fellow community members to deepen your understanding of what it means to be a leader, and how that can be applied to everyday life in Jewish Pittsburgh.

This course, led by Gefsky Community Scholar Rabbi Danny Schiff, will meet on eight Wednesday evenings over the course of the 2023-2024 program year.

This exclusive program is offered to a small group of women who have been identified as leaders of Jewish Pittsburgh. As such, a minimum contribution of $500 to the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh Community Campaign is required for the 2024 and 2025 Community Campaigns as a prerequisite to participation.
