DESCRIPTION:A Hands-On Justice Journey\nFeaturing learning\, reflection and real-world encounters with changemakers and those with lived experience.\nDo you know a Jewish teen who’s passionate about making the world a better place\, or just beginning to discover their voice? Give them a chance to connect with their identity\, peers and purpose on an unforgettable journey. \nThis immersive trip to Los Angeles is more than a change of scenery—it’s a deep dive into activism\, equity and compassion. \nTeens will experience Jewish values in action through immersive visits with social impact organizations such as Homeboy Industries\, Homegirl Café and Beit T’Shuvah. \n\nEngage in powerful conversations with grassroots organizers\nWitness real-world efforts to combat social injustice\nExplore the city through a Jewish lens of justice and community\n\nPrice: $900 per teen after subsidy (includes round-trip flights\, hotel accommodations\, all meals\, ground transportation\, program activities and materials) \nThis subsidized 4-day/3-night study journey is open to Jewish teens in greater Pittsburgh in grades 9-12 not enrolled in full-time Jewish education. \nSpots are limited and expected to fill quickly!\n  \n
