POSITION SUMMARY
The Development Database Analyst Associate will be responsible for performing data analysis and maintaining the organization's donor CRM system. This role supports internal staff across all departments, ensuring the CRM system is fully utilized. The position involves data analysis, reporting, and creating dashboards to meet stakeholder needs. The associate will also contribute to process design, offer ongoing training, and support data integrity initiatives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Essential Job Functions:
- Build lists, views, segments, exports, and data models to support organizational operations.
- Analyze and visualize data to create dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, providing explanations and solutions.
- Design and implement processes to improve data integrity and organizational efficiencies.
- Collaborate with departments to automate procedures and expand database functionality.
- Provide support for critical processes like campaign rollovers and workflow development.
- Train staff on advanced database usage and offer updates to key leaders.
- Communicate effectively with users of varying technical proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in data analysis, computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 3 years of experience in CRM administration and data analysis, specifically with Microsoft Dynamics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with relational databases like Dynamics.
- Experience with business intelligence platforms such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of nonprofit operations is preferred.
COMPENSATION
This position has a competitive hiring range of $48,000 to $65,000 a year to commensurate with experience.
