POSITION SUMMARY

The Development Operations Associate , Data will be responsible for performing data analysis and maintaining and developing the Federation donor CRM solution so that it can be fully utilized by Federation staff. This position will support internal staff for data and operational needs. This is a full-time, exempt position.  

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Build queries, views, segments, exports, and data models to support Federation operations across all departments and supported organizations. 
  • Analyze and visualize data, develop dashboards and reports to meet stakeholder needs.  
  • Investigate the origin of data discrepancies; research and provide explanations regarding data inconsistencies and provide solutions. 
  • Design processes to ensure the integrity of the data.  
  • Collaboratively build, automate, and implement new procedures to expand database usage and improve organizational efficiencies. 
  • Support Database Administrator on processes critical to organization operations (e.g., campaign rollover, workflow development and maintenance, views, dashboards, etc.). 
  • Work with internal departments to troubleshoot donor questions and service requests.  
  • Train employees on advanced usage of the database and provide regular updates to key leaders. 
  • Provide cross-functional support to Development Operations team members. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in data analysis, computer science, information technology, or a related field preferred; commensurate relevant experience may also be acceptable.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in CRM administration and  data analysis; experience in Microsoft Dynamics required.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize deliverables.
  • Superior analytical and critical thinking skills – ability to think logically and methodically.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting a CRM solution.
  • Demonstrated excellence in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel, and relational databases, specifically Dynamics.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with business intelligence and/or dashboard platforms such as Microsoft Power BI and Tableau.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of non-profit operations, characteristics, services, and activities preferred.

COMPENSATION

This position has a competitive hiring range of $48,000 to $65,000 a year to commensurate with experience.
