SUMMARY:Herut Emet Conference
DESCRIPTION:In a world defined by shifting perspectives and a constant barrage of conflicting narratives\, we anchor ourselves in Emet—Truth. Chief among these is the absolute\, non-negotiable right of the Jewish people to not only survive\, but to thrive with strength and dignity in our ancestral homeland. This conviction is the heartbeat of the Emet Conference. \nWe are a home for the entire spectrum of our people. Regardless of age\, denomination\, or synagogue affiliation\, if you are seeking a community that values action over bureaucracy and proactive advocacy over apologetics\, you have a place here. We believe Jewish unity does not require uniformity; our strength lies in our diversity\, united by a shared\, unwavering commitment to Zionism. Our goal is to move beyond the noise\, equipping a new generation of leaders with the intellectual clarity\, historical perspective\, and tactical skills necessary to advocate for Israel unapologetically. \nThe Emet Conference serves as a vital gathering point for all Herutniks\, community leaders from across the country\, and friends of Israel to unite under a single banner of truth. Community Leadership will gain strategic insight into the movement’s future while Herutniks receive the real-world tools and information necessary to stand as resilient\, unapologetic Zionists. We bridge the gap between deep intellectual exploration and practical advocacy. By fostering a space where bold thinking meets thoughtful execution\, we ensure every attendee leaves better equipped to navigate the complexities of the modern landscape. This weekend is a celebration of our shared conviction and a testament to the strength of a community that refuses to apologize for its identity. \nEvent Highlights \n\n\nShabbat Together: An inclusive\, egalitarian weekend of spiritual connection\, community\, and rest. The evening includes an egalitarian service and a communal Oneg Shabbat. We invite all participants to register for these events to ensure a cohesive community experience. A curated list of nearby synagogues and their respective service times will be available to facilitate local attendance. \n\n\nMasterclass Workshops: Twelve specialized\, interactive workshops – from AI-driven advocacy to the “Iron Dome of the Mind”—designed to sharpen your impact. \n\n\nLeadership Keynote: A definitive address by Karma Feinstein-Cohen on the future of our movement and the path forward for our Pittsburgh community. \n\n\nKarma Feinstein‑Cohen is the founder and Executive Director of World Magshimey‑Herut and World Herut\, leading the global movement of unapologetic Zionism for more than two decades. A powerful educator and advocate\, she has shaped Herut’s voice across five continents. \nA longtime Jabotinskyite\, she previously held senior leadership roles and directed major initiatives within the World Zionist Organization. In 2021 she became the first woman elected Chairwoman of the Council of World Zionist Youth Movements\, winning reelection in 2025. \nShe serves on the presidium of the Zionist General Council and has been a Jewish Agency committee member since 2002. Born in New Jersey and raised in Israel\, she served in the IDF and holds a B.A. from Tel Aviv University.
