Pittsburgh Kollel Learning Invitation to Culminate in Siyum at Shloshim of the Eleven Holy Souls

Dear Friend,

Jewish tradition teaches and history has taught us that we as a nation are able to turn darkness into light. Now, in this darkest time of immense tragedy over the senseless loss of eleven members of our community and of the Jewish People, let us unite through the study of Torah, the source of our legal, moral and ethical direction. Both men and women are invited to join us by selecting a portion of Mishna or Chumash/Bible study in memory of the fallen. There are 3 options to choose from:

  1. Mishna by masechta ;
  2. Mishna by perek;
  3. Chumash/Bible by parsha.

After you click on the link below please click on the appropriate chart to select the Torah study you wish to sign up for. You may sign up for any portion, even if someone has already signed up for it .

The communal Torah study will serve as a merit for the holy souls of those who perished and as a merit and a means of comfort for all of us in this time of great communal and national sadness and sorrow. Please forward this email to anyone who may be interested in participating.

There will be a gathering at the culmination of the learning to occur on the shloshim, the 30th day from burial of the victims, and will mark the end of a mourning period. Details for the shloshim event will follow. Please sign up online to participate in this great Mitzvah.
