Joint Expression of Condolences and Solidarity

The Buddhist Society of Pittsburgh, on behalf of all our Buddhist sanghas, wishes to express our deepest condolences to our brothers and sisters in the Jewish community. Our hearts are broken at this senseless tragedy committed in a sacred space during prayer.

We stand in solidarity with you and with all of Pittsburgh, with peace, kindness and love toward all. We commit to you that we will work with you to overcome violence and hatred with compassion, wisdom and tolerance for all beings.

The greatest strength in this world is loving kindness. May all beings be comforted, may all find refuge, may all reside in peace and happiness.
