Deadlines for the Nov. 5, 2024 General Election

  • Oct. 21, 2024: You must be registered to vote. Any changes to your voter registration (address, name, party) must be complete.
  • Oct. 29, 2024: By 5:00 PM, your application for a mail-in or absentee ballot must be received by your county election office.
  • Oct. 29, 2024: The last opportunity to vote early in-person at your county’s designed location. (Times vary by location.)
  • Nov. 5, 2024: By 8:00 PM, your county election office must receive your completed mail ballot. A postmark by 8:00 PM, Nov. 5 is not sufficient.
