Nearly 15 Pennsylvanians die from an overdose each day. Being a good Samaritan can save a life. Join the Center for Loving Kindness and partners for an Opioid Awareness Workshop. Our featured speakers include Jon Atkinson, President, Fraternal Association of Professional Paramedics Local 1, a parent impacted by overdose, and a personal story and Narcan training led by Stacie Brown, Community Engagement Lead, Allegheny County, followed by Q&A. A light Kosher breakfast and coffee will be provided, along with Overdose Prevention Kits.
