Join us for an engaging panel discussion with Carolyn Duronio, Chief Legal Officer for Highmark Health; Laura Cherner, Director of the Jewish Federation’s Community Relations Council; and Sue Berman-Kress, Jewish Federation of Pittsburgh board member and Assistant Secretary.
We’ll discuss the fundamental difference between politics and policy—how politics shapes the debate, while policy drives the action. We will discuss the differences between 501(c)3’s and 501(c)4’s as they relate to advocacy. In this session you will explore the ways you can integrate advocacy into your work and amplify your non-profit’s impact without crossing legal boundaries. Whether you’re new to policy or looking to expand your advocacy efforts, this session will equip you with practical strategies to elevate your organization’s influence.
