Join the Jewish Community Center and the 10.27 Healing Partnership to prepare for the High Holidays with community, care and learning. Learn with Rabbis Hindy Finman and Alex Greenbaum as we explore what unity means as we head into the Jewish New Year. After Jewish learning, choose one of two mindfulness activities, community acupuncture or a mindful nature walk in the neighborhood, to extend your meditative time with us. Finally, gather for a communal shofar blowing.  “Rosh Chodesh” celebrates the beginning of the lunar month, which is the foundation of the Jewish calendar. Elul is the final month of the Jewish calendar, which precedes the High Holidays. This program is open to all.
