Ben Siman-Tov, known to his online community as @BenGingi, is an Israeli-American chef, author and restaurateur celebrated for his exceptional breads, small plates and Middle Eastern cuisine. He is the chef and co-owner of Buba Bureka, New York City’s first burekas-only shop, and co-owner of a boutique catering company rooted in Israeli and Mediterranean flavors that he co-founded with his wife, Zikki. His joyful “YASSS!”-filled videos have amassed a global following and led to the couple’s debut cookbook, Eat Small Plates, celebrating the shared joy of cooking and hosting. Ben was born in Israel and raised in Rehovot, but now he and his family reside in New Jersey.
