Teen Social Justice Journey to Los Angeles

In-Person Event

Cost: $900

Venue

Los Angeles, CA 94016

A Hands-On Justice Journey

Featuring learning, reflection and real-world encounters with changemakers and those with lived experience.

Do you know a Jewish teen who’s passionate about making the world a better place, or just beginning to discover their voice? Give them a chance to connect with their identity, peers and purpose on an unforgettable journey.

This immersive trip to Los Angeles is more than a change of scenery—it’s a deep dive into activism, equity and compassion.

Teens will experience Jewish values in action through immersive visits with social impact organizations such as Homeboy Industries, Homegirl Café and Beit T’Shuvah.

  • Engage in powerful conversations with grassroots organizers
  • Witness real-world efforts to combat social injustice
  • Explore the city through a Jewish lens of justice and community

Price: $900 per teen after subsidy (includes round-trip flights, hotel accommodations, all meals, ground transportation, program activities and materials)

This subsidized 4-day/3-night study journey is open to Jewish teens in greater Pittsburgh in grades 9-12 not enrolled in full-time Jewish education.

Spots are limited and expected to fill quickly!
