Inspiring a Culture of Philanthropy and Connection
The Women’s Council of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh engages female-identifying members of the Pittsburgh Jewish community to inspire a culture of philanthropy and furthering the organization’s overall mission. The Women’s Council unites constituents in areas of interest to create meaningful personal, professional and social relationships that enhance their lives and benefit the community.

Donor Events Committee
Chairs of all Women’s donor events in the current year, including the Hannah Kamin Annual Lion of Judah event and the Fall Women’s Philanthropy event.
Engagement Committees
Neighborhood Ambassador Committee
Neighborhood-specific liaisons between women in each community and the Jewish Federation. Targeted areas include: City, Fox Chapel, North Hills, South Hills, with additional communities included as needed.
Education Committee
Coordinate new or existing Jewish learning opportunities for women.
Social/Volunteering Committee
Coordinate social or volunteer activities and programs for women in Jewish Pittsburgh.
