Mission to Latvia & Lithuania
April 4-11, 2027
Discover the Jewish Story of the Baltics — And the Community Writing Its Next Chapter
Walk the cobblestone streets of Vilnius, once home to one of the greatest centers of Jewish scholarship in Europe. Stand at Rumbula, where tens of thousands of Latvian Jews were murdered and then meet the young Jewish leaders in Riga who are rebuilding community life in the same city. This isn’t a museum tour. It’s a living encounter with history, memory and modern Jewry.
The Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh is bringing this mission to Lithuania and Latvia for an immersive, meaningful week, including visits to ORT schools, a JDC Hesed center, synagogues and curated Shabbat experiences. Space is limited.
This trip is open to the whole community, no prior mission experience required.
Have your passport ready. Fill out the form below and we’ll be in touch with full details.
