This course introduces participants to the Standard Response Protocol (SRP), a clear and consistent set of actions designed to enhance safety in school environments during emergencies. It teaches key response actions—Hold, Secure, Lockdown, Evacuate and Shelter along with specific roles for students and adults to ensure coordinated, effective responses. Through practical guidance and scenario-based understanding, the training equips staff and students to act quickly, maintain situational awareness and account for all individuals during a crisis.
