Local Jewish Organizations Awarded $567,400 in Federal Non-Profit Security Grants

Since 2020, the Jewish Federation has helped secure close to $9M in federal and state security grants for over 30 of our organizations.

Congratulations to four of our local Jewish organizations for being awarded the federal Non-Profit Security Grant, with a total of $567,400 in funds that will be dedicated to physical security enhancements. Since 2020, the Jewish Federation has helped secure close to $9M in federal and state security grants for over 30 of local Jewish organizations.

Federation also works very closely with our faith-based partners and vulnerable non-profits to secure these grants. Read more about these collaborations on TribLive.com.

On August 27, 2024, the following organizations were awarded:

  • Bnai Emunoh Chabad (Greenfield, PA) – $150,000
  • Jewish Spark (Fox Chapel, PA) – $150,000
  • Emma Kaufmann Camp (Morgantown, WV) – $117,400
  • Tree of Life (Morgantown, WV) – $150,000

Federation worked with all the above organizations to help and support them with the grant applications in fulfillment of a dedication to creating a safer, more inclusive world.
