The Capstone Study Tour will provide an opportunity for participants to gain a deeper understanding of the struggles African Americans faced in their fight for equality during the 1950s and 60s. Additionally, participants will learn about the vital role that Jews played in the Civil Rights struggle. Through this experience, participants will gain a greater appreciation for the importance of caring and taking action when others are oppressed, particularly as a people who have known oppression themselves.

FLIGHTS
Regarding Air Travel Arrangements
We hope to find flights that depart Pittsburgh Saturday night, February 17, after Shabbat ends. If no flight is available after 8:00 PM on Saturday night, the group will leave on the first available flight out of Pittsburgh on Sunday morning, February 18th.

Pricing Terms
$1,240 per person
-$740 subsidy
$500 per teen
Thanks to a subsidy of $740, provided from The Fine Foundation and the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, the cost is reduced to $500 per teen participant. We are pleased to make available a total of 40 teen subsidies. The study tour is capped at 40 teen participants.
Cost Includes
- Round-trip airfare from Pittsburgh to Atlanta
- Three nights in hotels (double occupancy)
- Charter bus
- All meals beginning Monday morning (except for one dinner)
- Entrance fees
- Tour company fees
Cancellation
All cancellations must be in writing to us and must be sent by the person who made the original reservation. Cancellations are only effective from the day they are received by us. If you cancel your study tour, cancellation fees and penalties will be deducted from your payment. Cancellation fees apply to each person registered.
- Minimum fee of $100.00 per person for any cancellation after October 31, 2023.
- Prior to departure cancellation fee:

- From December 1-29, 2023: $350.00 per person
- From January 1, 2024 to date of departure: No Refund
- *Plus, any penalties applied by airlines, hotels and tour operator.

If a participant becomes ill during the mission, the laws and regulations of local, state, federal and international governments may require quarantine in a separate location, at your expense, without physical access to family and friends, and could result in the interruption or cancellation of your mission participation.
