From the Federation Security Team

Please Be Aware

Mohammad Hamad, one of individuals arrested for Hate Crimes relative to the threatening graffiti on Chabad of Squirrel Hill and Jewish Federation’s office is seeking to be released from custody pending trial. His defense attorney filed the motion and the government is responding. We will keep you posted as this unfolds. There is a status conference on the matter scheduled for November 10th at which time a trial date will likely be set.

This year’s Thanksgiving “Let’s Get Stuffed with Love” campaign is taking registrations until November 15. For more information, please see the flyer here.

So far in 2025, we have logged 280 incidents in our Virtual Command Center. This compares to 258 for 2024. We continue to collaborate closely with law enforcement to monitor potential threat activity. Please continue to report any suspicious incidents via the Incident Report Form.
