As we enter a new year we wanted to give a recap of 2025 incidents. 2025 ended with 312 incidents, surpassing 2024’s total of 283 and 2023’s total of 300. These incidents were largely comprised of bomb threats, email threats, social media threats, graffiti, stickering, flyering and verbal threats.
There are five pending federal matters related to threats against the Pittsburgh Jewish community. We will continue to monitor the court proceedings and provide updates as they become available. The federal defendants include Edward Owens, Aiden Harding, Jack Molloy, Mohamad Hamad and Micaiah Collins. The Goyim Defense League (GDL) state littering case against Jeremy Brokaw is pending as well.

BluePoint Status
BluePoint is now live in 34 of the 36 locations. Police boxes have been installed at 29 of our organizations, enabling law enforcement to have immediate access in an emergency.

The Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh Security team invites nonprofits and faith communities to a workshop on applying for the FY27 the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime & Delinquency (PCCD) Nonprofit Security Grant Fund.
