Remember to practice excellent situational awareness and vigilance during this High Holiday season. See something, say something, do something.
There have now been 49 synagogues in 13 states evacuated due to hoax bomb threats in the past two months. This past weekend, synagogues in Los Altos Hills, CA and St. Petersburg, FL were targeted. Please be cognizant of this as we approach the High Holidays. See Bomb Threat Guide to learn how to respond.
For awareness, online contact forms being used to sending threatening messages to Jewish organizations in at least four states. The threats contained similar language, including “Submit to Christ or be destroyed” and “I don’t need jews in synagogues anymore, not after that little practical joke.” The threats utilized the same IP Address.
