Please Be Aware

Pakistani national Muhammad Shahzeb Kham, also known as Shahzeb Jadoon, has pled guilty to “attempting to commit acts of terrorism and carry out a mass shooting with automatic weapons” that was planned for October 7, 2024. The attempted attack was to take place at a prominent Jewish center in Brooklyn, New York and was inspired by ISIS. Six individuals were arrested on Monday, March 30, for Federal Hate Crimes and Obstruction of Justice charges pursuant to a physical assault on a Jewish PITT student in Oakland. The student was wearing a Star of David necklace and that is what allegedly prompted the assault. We will continue to update you on the status of this case. So far in 2026 we have logged 72 incidents in our Virtual Command Center which is in comparison to 79 at this time last year. Please continue to report any suspicious incidents via the Incident Report Form.

BluePoint Status

BluePoint is now live in 34 of the 36 locations. Police boxes have been installed at 29 of our organizations, enabling law enforcement to have immediate access in an emergency.
