There is an uptick in fraudulent email incidents impacting Jewish organizations across the country, and they are more elaborate than the typical phishing and spoofing scams. These include producing fake invoices from email addresses that appear to match someone with a known relationship with the victim. Per a report published by Tel Aviv University, 2025 saw the largest amount of Diaspora Jews murdered in antisemitic attacks since 1994. See article below for details as well as a copy of the report.
So far in 2026 we have logged 81 incidents in our Virtual Command Center which is in comparison to 87 at this time last year. Please continue to report any suspicious incidents via the Incident Report Form.

Navigating Digital Threats: Strategies to Prevent Online Child Exploitation
Thursday, July 23 @ 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM EDTAhead of the next school year, please join the Federal School Safety Clearinghouse for a virtual training on preventing and responding to online child exploitation in K-12 communities. This session will feature a panel discussion with experts from the U.S. Department of Justice and National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, who will share valuable tools and resources to combat online child exploitation and educate teachers, students and families.
