Jeremy Brokaw, the Zanesville, Ohio, man accused of distributing over a hundred antisemitic and racist flyers throughout Squirrel Hill last May, did not show up in court this Thursday to address his appeal of the charges. Brokaw and his attorney claim they never got notice of the court appearance. The appeal was dismissed since they did not show, but it has now been reinstated by the Judge, with a new court date on June 3. See the article below for more details.
Mohamed Sabry Soliman, the man accused of a firebomb attack during a rally in Boulder, Colorado, for the Israeli hostages held by Hamas, has pleaded guilty to murder and other charges. An 82-year-old woman died in the attack and several others were injured. Soliman, an Egyptian national who was living in the U.S illegally, faces life in prison or possibly the death penalty.
