On May 15, 2026, Mohammad Baqer Saad Dawood AL-SAADI (AL-SAADI), an Iraqi national and alleged Kataib Hezbollah commander, was charged by federal prosecutors in connection with alleged plots targeting U.S., Israeli, and Jewish interests in the U.S. He was allegedly attempting to coordinate attacks targeting Jewish locations in NYC, LA and Scottsdale, AZ with his associates. One of the associates happened to be an FBI Undercover Agent.
According to a 2025 report from the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center, complaints from victims over 60 years old exceeded 201,000, and reported losses were more than $7.7 billion.
So far in 2026 we have 104 logged incidents in our Virtual Command Center which is in comparison to 146 at this time last year. Please continue to report any suspicious incidents to us.

Navigating Digital Threats: Strategies to Prevent Online Child Exploitation
Thursday, July 23 @ 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM EDTAhead of the next school year, please join the Federal School Safety Clearinghouse for a virtual training on preventing and responding to online child exploitation in K-12 communities. This session will feature a panel discussion with experts from the U.S. Department of Justice and National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, who will share valuable tools and resources to combat online child exploitation and educate teachers, students and families.
