Please Be Aware
On September 21, 2023, law enforcement cautioned that hoax bomb threats and swatting incidents targeting Jewish organizations across the country will continue throughout Yom Kippur. Please review the Bomb Threat Checklist as a reference, as well as the informational alert from PaCIC (Pennsylvania Criminal Intelligence Center).
On September 19, 2023, Hardy Lloyd pled guilty in federal court to obstruction of due administration of justice (18 USC 1503a) and admitted to threatening and/or tampering with witnesses and jurors in the synagogue shooting trial due to religious animous. The proposed prison term is 78 months. Lloyd will be formally sentenced in the next three months.
Remember to practice excellent situational awareness and vigilance during this High Holiday season. See something, say something, do something.
