Please Be Aware
The penalty phase of the synagogue shooting trial is underway. The Government presented its witnesses earlier in the week. The defense is now presenting several witnesses and will likely do so for another week. After that, the Government may present some rebuttal witnesses, followed by closing arguments, then deliberation by the jury on the death penalty with a decision possible during the week of July 31st.
Please be advised that there is an email phishing scheme targeting Jewish organizations across the country. The email requests access to organizational member directories, then individuals from that member directory are contacted and asked to make donations via gift card purchases. View details from SCN online.
Please continue to report white supremacy stickers or flyers observed to us via the Incident Report form and include a photo of the flyer or sticker.
