Please Be Aware
This morning, several large red swastikas were found spray-painted on the side of a building located in Beaver, PA. Law enforcement is investigating.
Secure Community Network (SCN) issued a bulletin advising of the potential for encampments on university campuses across the country on April 1 in protest of ICE’s arrest of Mahmoud Khalil on March 8. This campaign is being led by a non-profit organization out of Canada and it is calling for students to participate in a “long encampment” to “free Palestine” and to “divest from apartheid and genocide.” As of now, we do not know of any planned participation by our local universities.
SCN issued a bulletin projecting an elevated threat level during Passover. The threat potential is exacerbated due to ongoing tensions between Israel and Hamas. Remain vigilant and report suspicious behavior to 911 and us via our Incident Report Form. The bulletin is here—SCN Bulletin: 2025 Passover Threat Assessment.
So far in 2025, we have logged 81 incidents in our Virtual Command Center. This compares to 67 for 2024. We continue to collaborate closely with law enforcement to monitor potential threat activity. Please continue to report any suspicious incidents via the Incident Report Form.
