Please Be Aware
On May 5, 2025, more than 30 anti-Israel protesters at the University of Washington were arrested for trespassing, property destruction, disorderly conduct and conspiracy. Before the incident, the group that led this effort, Students United for Palestinian Equality & Return (SUPER), posted a link to its manifesto on Instagram. The manifesto refers to the October 7 Hamas terrorist attack against Israel as a “heroic victory” and says SUPER’s actions were taken in response to a call from the Palestinian student movement in Gaza, the Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network. Samidoun has received terrorist designations and sanctions from several Western nations. In Feb 2021, Israel designated the group as a terrorist organization and a subsidiary of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), a designated a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) and a Specially Designated Global Terrorist (SDGT) entity. This incident provides a concrete example of how FTOs influence, and messaging related to the Israel-Hamas war, contribute to the threat environment in the U.S. and globally.
So far in 2025, we have logged 108 incidents in our Virtual Command Center. This compares to 96 for 2024. We continue to collaborate closely with law enforcement to monitor potential threat activity. Please continue to report any suspicious incidents via the Incident Report Form.
