On Wednesday evening, June 4, occupants in a tan Chevy Malibu were yelling antisemitic slurs at pedestrians in the area of Murray Ave at approximately 9:15 PM. If you have any information on this vehicle or occupants, please report it to 911 and file an Incident Report using the Incident Report Form.
Edward Arthur Owens Jr., age 29, of Elizabeth, PA, was arrested by the FBI on Friday, May 30, for making an antisemitic threat to injure a local public official. At Owen’s detention hearing yesterday, the Judge ordered that he remain detained pending trial. Jeremy Brokaw, 45, of Zanesville, OH, has been cited for distributing more than 160 antisemitic and racist flyers throughout Squirrel Hill and Peters Township. The flyers came from the white supremacy group, the Goyim Defense League. Brokaw was cited for “depositing waste and other material on highway, property or water” and has been charged with a fine of close to $50,000, $300 per flyer. Please see the article below.
So far in 2025, we have logged 160 incidents in our Virtual Command Center. This compares to 148 for 2024. We continue to collaborate closely with law enforcement to monitor potential threat activity. Please continue to report any suspicious incidents via the Incident Report Form.

BluePoint Status
BluePoint installation is scheduled to begin at Yeshiva Boys next week. Charles Morris installation is scheduled to begin mid-June. BluePoint has now been installed in 31 of the 33 locations. Police boxes have been installed at 18 of our organizations, with 10 more locations to follow.
