Please Be Aware
Within the last two weeks there have been three separate incidents reported regarding males that appear to be of Middle Eastern or Hispanic ethnicity who are engaging in suspicious activity near churches in Beaver County, one of them claiming to be from Israel. These incidents stem from driving slowly with phones up possibly taking pictures to leaving an electric bicycle battery in one of the pews. Please use your situational awareness and report anything suspicious to 911 and then to Federation by using the Incident Report Form.
The PA Energy and Innovation Summit held at CMU on July 15th will bring in VIPs to include industry leaders, President Trump and Senator McCormick. At this time, we are expecting heavy traffic through Oakland approximately between 2-3p, then again around 4:30–5:15 PM, causing residual traffic that may impact travel in the surrounding area.
So far in 2025, we have logged 191 incidents in our Virtual Command Center. This compares to 173 for 2024. We continue to collaborate closely with law enforcement to monitor potential threat activity. Please continue to report any suspicious incidents via the Incident Report Form.
