Her talk, “Recovering the Lost Worlds of Jewish Artist Rahel Szalit,” will focus on her process of rediscovering Rahel Szalit (1888–1942), one of the best-known Jewish women artists in Weimar Germany whose work was largely forgotten in the wake of the Holocaust.
