JPro Professional Development Workshop
How can you build a practice of innovation or strategic focus? How do you “get out of your own way?” How can you build a self-culture of risk-taking? How do you give yourself permission to fail? Explore these questions and more with local expert Brian Schreiber, Pittsburgh’s JCC President & CEO.
This is a free, in-person event at the Squirrel Hill JCC.
BYOL! (Bring your own lunch). Light refreshments provided.
Brian Schreiber brought his decades of professional experience to a group of eager Jewish Professionals on June 8 for the session called “Building Your Professional Persona.” From the first icebreaker to the last conversation, Brian built trust and confidentiality while getting us to think about how we show up every day at work. In other words, integrating our SPINE (Spiritual, Physical, Intellectual, Intuitive, and Emotional dimensions) into our professional lives.
As someone who has been a Jewish professional for ten years, I still find that there is more to learn, and ways to grow. Brian’s class did exactly that and I am excited for the next session where I learn how my “SPINE” integrates with my organizational culture. Building Your Professional Persona, Part 2 is for anyone who wants to bring their whole self to the Jewish nonprofit setting to build trust and inspire.
