Be inspired by 20th-century Jewish hero Ruth Gruber. Featuring Patti Kenner, the Executive Producer of the award-winning documentaryAhead of Time: Extraordinary Journey of Ruth Gruber.

Step into the golden age of Hollywood with Patti Kenner, the Executive Producer of the award-winning documentary Ahead of Time: The Extraordinary Journey of Ruth Gruber. Ruth shattered barriers as a journalist and photographer, becoming the first reporter to enter the Soviet Arctic and later covering the turbulent Middle East of the 1940s. A trusted member of the Roosevelt Administration during WWII, Ruth was tasked with a dangerous secret mission—one that would shape history. A feminist before feminism, she was never just an observer; she was a participant in the moments that changed the world. Through striking photography, rare archival footage and Ruth’s own firsthand accounts, Ahead of Time captures her extraordinary journey.
