I am amazed by our professionals throughout the Pittsburgh Jewish community. Yesterday, our Jewish Association on Aging organized a parade of cars of Board and community members to drive by their facility to thank all their front-line healthcare workers. In fact, a picture of that celebration appears in today’s Post-Gazette. Throughout our community, the staff at our synagogues and agencies are doing whatever they can to care for clients and to keep community members connected with our Jewish community. They do all this work within a radically changed work environment.
Instead of writing a long message about all that is happening at the Federation and community, most of which happens only because of the above-mentioned staff, I want to use this opportunity to express deep gratitude to all my colleagues. Thank you! Toda Raba!
Shabbat Shalom.
