Jewish Family and Community Services Community Update: Coronavirus

Jewish Family and Community Services (JFCS) of Pittsburgh is monitoring reports of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and is following the guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Allegheny County Health Department (ACHD) to manage the risk.

As of March 16th, services offered by JFCS are adjusted to ensure the safety and well being of staff and clients. Most of JFCS staff will be working remotely until March 30th while continuing to provide service to families and individuals in our community. Critical functions that require face to face service will continue on a case-by-case basis. Adjusted explanation of services are listed below.

We will update the community as the situation evolves and if any changes are made to the services offered.

Updates about JFCS will be posted on our website, social media pages and sent out to our mailing list. Clients will be contacted directly by service providers.
