The Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh recognized two outstanding leaders for their contributions to Jewish life and celebrated a third award presented by the FBI at its Annual Meeting on September 16, 2025, at the Jewish Community Center. This year’s honorees are:

• Louis B. Kushner — 2025 Emanuel Spector Memorial Award (Federation)
• Mary Anne Foley, RN, MSN — 2025 Doris & Leonard H. Rudolph Jewish Communal Professional Award (Federation)
• Maggie Feinstein — 2025 FBI Director’s Community Leadership Award (FBI)

About the Honorees

• Louis B. Kushner is a distinguished attorney and community leader whose career combines legal excellence with civic service. A Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, he has mediated nearly 900 cases and has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America for nearly four decades. Kushner also co-founded the reconstituted Pittsburgh Marathon and has served in key leadership roles with the Federation and numerous nonprofit organizations.
• Mary Anne Foley, RN, MSN, President & CEO of the Jewish Association on Aging, has more than 40 years of healthcare leadership. She has advanced senior care locally through roles including COO and Executive Director for Home Health and Hospice, and was named 2022 Professional of the Year by the Association of Jewish Aging Services. Foley also chairs the board of Renewal, Inc. and is a respected voice on best practices in aging services.
• Maggie Feinstein, Executive Director of the 10.27 Healing Partnership, received the FBI Director’s Community Leadership Award in recognition of her work advancing trauma-informed care and community resilience. A professional counselor, she has presented nationally on topics ranging from juvenile justice reform to the impacts of violent extremism and has become a leading figure in supporting individuals and communities facing trauma.
