Pittsburgh just completed a three-day conference, the Eradicate Hate Global Summit. It concluded on Wednesday, and now we must look to next week when we will recall and remember what happens when hatred is permitted to be taken to its extreme.
I share with you information below about the third commemoration of the horrible events of October 27, 2018. I am proud our Jewish Federation took the lead in organizing the Torah study component which has an incredibly diverse and talented group of teachers from around the world. I hope you will join me in many of these opportunities to remember and honor both who and what was taken from us. Thank you to the 10.27 Healing Partnership and all the volunteers who helped arrange this programming for our community.
