The release of a video showing Israeli hostage Alon Ohel, the first since October 7, brings both concern and hope. Alon has been held hostage by Hamas for over 700 days in inhumane conditions. We continue to pray for his safe return and stand in solidarity with his family.

The Pittsburgh Jewish community values our close partnership with the Misgav region, and we hold the Ohel family and all of Misgav in our hearts during this difficult time. May Alon, and all who are still held hostage, come home soon.
